March AFB Veterans Village: We are looking to assist Post 79 in supporting the men and families that are living/staying there. We are going to start by heading up there on October 31 (Halloween) to host a candy table for the families with approximately 21 children that are currently staying there.
Please drop candy donations at the Moose Lodge if you feel so inclined.
We will post meet up/times for the 10/31 - those that would like to join us are welcome to... Maybe even some costumes on motorcycles?
1st Saturday in December assist Post 79 deliver needed supplies to March and serve meal.
Halloween Party at the Moose Lodge on 10/27 - Everyone is welcome.
Veteran Expo at Murrieta Town Square Park on 11/10/18. We will be giving away a Patriotic Themed Christmas Tree.
City of Murrieta Veterans Day Parade 11/11/18 - Meet at Lowes on Madison at 11:00AM to decorate the truck and trailer which have been confirmed.
Comrades, we need your help... Your comrades need your help. This Post has a history of benevolence with both money and time. We have 150 members on the current roster and beyond paying your dues we really could use a hand with some of these worthwhile endeavors.

Since our charter in April, 1998, our American Legion Post has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families embodied in our preamble below.
For God and Country, we associate ourselves together for the following purposes:
To uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America;
to maintain law and order;
to foster and perpetuate a one hundred percent Americanism;
to preserve the memories and incidents of our associations in the Great Wars;
